iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak Update – State Of The Release

Apple has released the iOS 9.3 beta on January 14, then five days later came the 9.2.1 update and, unfortunately, we haven’t heard any news regarding a jailbreak. The latest successful jailbreak was iOS 9.0.2, which was available with Pangu 9 Jailbreak tool and since then, Apple has played rough, patching all vulnerabilities and giving hackers a hard time. Everyone is curious when Pangu or TaiG will be able to release a new iOS jailbreak, and there are rumors saying that soon an 9.2.1 jailbreak will arrive.
The Italian developer Luca Tedesco managed to successfully jailbreak both iOS 9.2.1 and 9.3 beta 1, while a Pangu team member said that it’s safe to upgrade our devices to the latest iOS version, meaning that the hackers might release an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak soon.
The iOS 9.3 Beta 3 was released a few days ago with the build number 13E5200d, bringing WiFi calling for the Verizon users, a bug fix for the mobile network, which was causing Apps to not load over a cellular connection. It isn’t known when the final version of iOS 9.3 will be available for the public, but it will surely bring the Night Shift mode, tweaks for the News, Notes, Health applications, new 3D Touch Actions etc.
Pangu and TaiG will never release an iOS 9.2 jailbreak because iOS 9.2.1 is already out and the users who would upgrade from an older version could never use the jailbreak tool for iOS 9.2 because it’s not compatible with 9.2.1.
iOS 9.2.1 can be cracked and Luca Tudesco demonstrated that the software has vulnerabilities, but he will never release the jailbreak. Unfortunately, at this point, neither Pangu, nor TaiG has announced a breakthrough in the efforts to jailbreak iOS 9.2.1 and the iOS 9.3 beta is already seeded to developers. The only hacker who cracked the first beta of iOS 9.3 is Luco Tudesco, and he posted a video in which he showed his iPhone 6 running on iOS 9.3 beta 1 and he launched Mobile Terminal in order to run some code which proved that he’s not lying about his achievement.
Rumors say that the major teams of hackers will bring the iOS 9.3 jailbreak after Apple will launch the new update.
