You will see an overview of all the different plans and features, and a very helpful guide as to how many web visitors each month they are designed to handle. Once you have chosen your plan, simply select the relevant “Get Started” button.
3. Choose Domain
All their shared hosting plans come with a free domain as standard stated to be worth up to $14.95 per year, but of course if you look around you could get a domain for much cheaper than this. Whilst we tend to keep our domains in one place with a specialist domain registrar like Namecheap, Enom or NameSilo, there is no reason not to take advantage of a free domain.

4. Check your Order and Enter Billing Information
There are a few things that you should check here before using completing your purchase:
- Hosting Plan – Make sure that you choose the right hosting plan. Whilst most sites will only need the StartUp Plan, you may want to choose the GrowBig plan for the additional CPU resources, or use of their SuperCacher technology.
- Location – Websites respond faster if they are hosted locally, as the information has less distance to travel between the server and the viewers computer.. Although this is mitigated by the use of their free Cloudflare CDN which puts copies of the site around the world so each user retrieves a local copy, we do recommend selecting the correct location anyway.
- Billing Period – With the discount, the longer you pay up front the more you will save. You should check the Siteground discount code is applied, and it shows the discount under the Savings section.
- Extra Services – Most web hosts will try and up-sell with additional services, and they are no different. If you are considering Premium Support, SSL, or their basic backup service we highly recommend upgrading to their GrowBig plan where these are provided free (and costs less than ordering each of these services separately). Don’t worry though, their StartUp plan without additional extras is still better than the majority of competition.

Siteground Coupon & Billing FAQs
Can you advise which hosting plan I should choose?
Without knowing your website, and how many visitors it gets this is difficult to advise on. Siteground do have some recommendations on the number of page views each plan can accommodate with their Shared Hosting, although this is a guide as there is no page view limit attached to any of the plans. The StartUp plan should be ok for 10,000 page views, GrowBig up to 25,000 page views and the GoGeek up to 100,000 page views.
That being said, if you want all their levels of Supercacher (i.e. dynamic caching) then you will need either the Growbig or the GoGeek plan as the StartUp plan only comes with the Static Caching.
If you like the look of the Developer Features (Site Staging, GIT) then you will need the GoGeek Plan.
If you want a little more control, and full SSD hosting along with their HVVM powered Cloud (which we use for this site) then we recommend their Cloud Hosting.
Can I pay monthly?
Siteground offer a trial of their hosting for 1 month, however there is a $14.95 setup fee to do this. Considering you would then have to pay full rate for their hosting after the one month, and for a minimum of 12 months (as they do not have a monthly billing cycle) we do not believe this to be a cost effective idea.
Instead of paying for a one month trial we recommend you pay for a year, and use our 60% off coupon for that year. You have 30 days to try out Siteground hosting with their money back guarantee.
What other billing cycles does Siteground offer?
Siteground offer 12 monthly, 2 yearly, and 3 yearly billing cycles. If you want to get premium hosting at a fraction of the cost for as long as possible we recommend signing up for 3 years when using out 60% off coupon.
Do Siteground offer a Free domain?
A free domain is offered with all hosting plans, however this includes only the most common domain extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .uk, .us, .biz or .info. Other domain extensions will be charged extra for.
Note that if you exercise the right to refund, any free domain offered will be charged for at the prevailing rates (.i.e. deducted from the refund).
What types of payment can I use to pay?
According to their website, Siteground only accepts payments via Visa or Mastercard credit \ debit cards only.
That being said, we are aware of one customer contacting them via support ticket requesting to pay by PayPal, and they were sent an invoice enabling them to do so. We are unaware if this was a one-off or something they will do for all customers if requested. If this is important to you, we suggest you contact them directly.
Does Siteground accept Paypal?
According to their website Siteground do not accept Paypal. However, as we mentioned above, we are aware of one customer that was able to pay by PayPal upon request.
Does Siteground accept Bitcoin?
Siteground does not accept Bitcoin at this time. If paying by Bitcoin is essential, then we suggest Namecheap.
Is there a money back guarantee? If so how long?
Siteground offer a 30 day money back guarantee for their shared hosting plans. The guarantee only covers the cost of the shared hosting, and all addons \ third party services (including free domains) are specifically excluded. In addition, Cloud VPS and Dedicated plans are specifically excluded.
In addition, the money back guarantee only applies to new accounts, not renewals.
Will my price go up when my hosting plan renews?
Yes, the cost of hosting will go up once you renew as the initial discount offered by our Siteground Coupons only applies to the first invoice. During the order process the discounted rate and the renewal rate are clearly shown.
We recommend signing up for 3 years to make the most of the initial discount.
What is the premium support option offered by Siteground?
Siteground offer support 24/7 via telephone, ticket and online chat. They are renowned for their fast support, and our own experiences show that they usually respond to tickets within 5-10 minutes, although we have only ever used plans that come with their premium support as standard.
Premium support comes free with the GrowBig and GoGeek plans, as well as free for the first 3 months on the StartUp plans.
With Premium Support your tickets are given higher priority in the queue with promises to resolve the issues more quickly. In addition, submitting a support ticket is easier as you do not need to select a category for your support ticket. Without a doubt, we definitely recommend having Premium support, and specifically we would recommend the GrowBig plan that comes with this as standard as well as other free features such as all 3 levels of Supercacher, and daily backups.
Do I need the Backup Service addon offered by Siteground?
In our opinion, yes. The Backup Service which comes free with GrowBig and GoGeek plans, and a small additional fee for StartUp plans is essential. The Backup Service will store 30 days worth of backups for your account, so should you get hacked or do something that breaks your site you will have piece of mind that you can restore an earlier version.
More importantly, you are able to restore specific files \ databases which is incredibly useful for fine tuning any restorations.
You get 20% off the Backup Service when ordering at the same time as your Startup Hosting account, but like we said it is more cost effective to purchase a higher plan that has this (and more) free.
What is Siteground’s HackAlert Monitoring? Is it worth it?
This is a third party service (not included in Money Back Guarantee) that scans up to 10 random pages of your website each day searching for malware. If such code is found you will be immediately alerted by email enabling you to take action. If no malware or other suspicious code is found, you will receive a report each week showing which pages were scanned and the results.
