A few months ago, Apple has released its new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. According to some new rumors, the American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California is planning to release a new 4-inch iPhone device.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, the new iPhone device will be probably named iPhone 6C and it will feature a 4-inch display. When it comes to internal specifications, the device will probably come with an A9 processor and it will feature NFC that will support Apple Pay. The device will probably look alike the current iPhone 5S, but the display would be most likely slightly curved like on the new iPhones.
When it comes to colors, the device will be released in gold, silver and gray variants. Kuo said that since the new iPhones are released sometimes next fall, the iPhone 6C will probably arrive sometime in Q1-Q2 2016.
Another Chinese report claimed that the 4-inch iPhone 6C will actually be announced in January 2016 and it will go on sale in February 2016. The same source claimed that the device will feature a NFC chip to support Apple Pay, Touch ID, but unfortunately, there will be no 3D Touch.
Kuo firstly made predictions about the 4-inch iPhone 6C last month, when he claimed that the mobile devices are getting too big nowadays and there are still a lot of consumers who want smaller devices.
Apple didn’t confirm any of these rumors, but we’re pretty sure that soon enough, the American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California, will start giving out invitations for the unveiling event of the iPhone 6C.
