Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Next Month


It seems that the Galaxy Note 5 device is ready to be updated to the latest Android OS version, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. According to some new leaks, the Galaxy Note 5 will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS in December 2015.
The leak about the arrival of the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow to Galaxy Note 5 has surfaced after Samsung made an announcement, saying that the upgrade will be finally be released in the Q4 2015. With other words, since November is about to end, we can guess that the device will finally be updated to Android Marshmallow in December 2015.
The Galaxy Note 5 device that comes with the model number SM-N920G did also appear in a leaked document, but it was not yet confirmed that it passed the test. The document had the date of November 15, 2015 and it showed the update status of the Galaxy Note 5 to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Unfortunately, on November 15, 2015 the status was “Uploading”, which means that the developers were about to make more tests after the upload was complete.
We remind you that according to some earlier reports that surfaced in October 2015, the Galaxy Note 5 was expected to be released in December 2015. Hopefully, Samsung will come with some official news soon regarding the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on its Galaxy Note 5.
According to Android Community, the Galaxy Note 5 will most likely be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with the Galaxy S6 Edge+, as these two devices were released a couple months ago.
After these two Galaxy devices will be updated to the latest Android OS version, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will follow in January 2016, along with other devices such as: Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge in February 2016.
