iOS 9.1 Jailbreak Status Update Now Available – What’s New?

One of the questions that a lot of Apple fans are asking nowadays is: Can the iOS 9.1 be jailbroken?
After five BETA developments, Apple has released the final version of 9.1 and can be downloaded and installed by anyone. The hacker group Pangu has released a jailbreak tool for the previous iOS 9 versions (iOS 9, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2) and we’re sure that they’ve took many people by surprisem, as expected, it was a very nice surprise, as there are many people who prefer to use a jailbroken iOS version.
As expected, Apple is trying to find any exploits and vulnerabilities that Pangu has used to jailbreak the iOS 9, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2 and currently it seems that the iOS 9.1 is pretty secure, however, we’re sure that one of the two well known hacker groups (Pangu or TaiG) will release a jailbreak for the iOS 9.1 in the near future.
If you updated your device to iOS 9.1 then you should know that Apple will soon close the “window” that allows you to downgrade back to the iOS 9.0.2, with other words, if you are a jailbreak fan, you should know that your device will be stuck with iOS 9.1 and we’re not sure how soon one of the hacker groups will release a jailbreak for it.
Currently, if you have updated your device to iOS 9.1, you can still downgrade it to the iOS 9.0.2 as Apple is still leaving the signing window open for this iOS version, so, if you want to test out the iOS 9.1, but still want to go back to the latest 9.0.2 update after that, you should do it now.
According to Apple, the 9.1 update comes with two vulnerabilities patched which were used by the Pangu Team to jailbreak the operating system, this means that Pangu will need to find other vulnerabilities to jailbreak the latest iOS version.
UPDATE: Apple has stopped signing the 9.0.2 update, which means that you can’t downgrade your device to iOS 9.0.2 once you update it to 9.1.
